The Wish Cat

Holly had a cat flap, but no cat. When one day a star fell from the sky, she made a wish, and Crash! Tom arrived on her window sill. “It’s a mistake!” cried Holly. “I wished for a kitten.” Tom was no kitten, but a big, scruffy cat with a crooked smile. Holly didn’t want him, and shooed him away – but Tom was determined that he should be her one and only wish cat!
